St1 introduces 120 Service Masters at Shell stations
Novel service brings new profession to Finland
PRESS RELEASE, 20.09.11
The St1 energy company has introduced a unique service refueling to its consolidated yellow fuel station network. The first trained Service Masters started serving customers at 16 Shell stations in the Helsinki metropolitan area on Monday. The service will be expanded nationwide later this year.
“Following the development of the field, St1 has the largest unmanned station network in the Nordic Countries. The large number of unmanned stations does not reduce the need for different services related to cars and driving. Quality of service has been further emphasized in the customer experience, and we meet this need with our new Service Refueling concept”, says Retailing Director Mikko Reinekari of St1 Oy. “Service Refueling is a strong, customer based competitive advantage, and we expect that more and more drivers will choose a station with Service Refueling in the future", Reinekari goes on.
